What the city already does for you
If you live inside Tucson city limits, you have Brush & Bulky: free bulky-item collection that comes to each of the city's 26 residential service areas twice a year. Piles go at the curb by 6 a.m. on the Monday of your week, up to about 10 cubic yards. If your week is far off, the city also offers a special pickup any time, currently $95 for up to 10 cubic yards under its July 2026 rate table, with extra charges for more volume or time.
City residents can also drop off paint, chemicals and other household hazardous waste free at the Los Reales campus, with proof of residency. Our Brush & Bulky comparison explains when the city program is the better deal and when a crew is.
